What better way to kick off summer prep and outdoor parties than relaxing with a nice glass of Frosé (frozen Rosé) made with the California Rosé from OneHope Wine. Looking to make a positive impact with your celebration? Every bottle of OneHope Wine supports a charitable cause because they’re dedicated to positive social change and giving back.
If you’ve never had Frosé before, think of it as an adult slushy, and this is the perfect time of year to give my Watermelon Frosé recipe a try. This recipe calls for watermelon, but you could use whatever fruits you have on hand, because the Rosé is the main component. It only takes four ingredients and five minutes to prep, so you can easily mix these items together a few hours before an event or on any lazy summer evening.
INGREDIENTS
- OneHope California Rosé Wine (dry)
- Ice cube tray
- 1 cup of Watermelon Cubes
- 1/2 cup of Lemonade (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- pour rosé into an ice cube tray and freeze for 6-8 hours. Keep in mind that alcohol wont completely freeze, and that’s okay!
- use a fork to gently remove ice cubes and put into a wine glass
- add in watermelon cubes and lemonade to to wine glass to give the wine a sweeter taste
- use the same fork to crush the ice cubes and watermelon softly to make a slushy consistency
- add a little more rosé if the consistency is too thick to drink through a straw
Super simple right?
